Just a week after the Season 3 premiere, Sex Education has been renewed for Season 4 at Netflix.
The announcement was made at the Netflix TUDUM fan event.
Sex Education takes place at Moordale Secondary School in England and it follows Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), the son of prominent sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson), who gives out sex advice to his students will fellow students Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey) and Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa).
In the third season, Otis is having casual sex Eric and Adam (Connor Swindells) are officially dating. Otis’ mom has a baby on the way and the new headteacher (Jemima Kirke) tries to turn Moordale around. Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) discovers feminism and Jackson (Connor Williams-Stirling) has a crush.
The cast also includes Alistair Petrie, Mimi Keene, Tanya Reynolds, Mikael Persbrandt, and Patricia Allison.
The series is created and executive produced by Laurie Nun. Jamie Campbell and Ben Taylor also executive produce.
