Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley and Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers are getting married. The news was confirmed by Woodley during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Yes, we are engaged,” said Woodley when asked about the rumors by host Jimmy Fallon. “But for us, it’s not new news, you know? So it’s kind of funny … Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while.”

Woodley went on to gush about her future husband while revealing several interesting things about their relationship, including the fact that she never went to a football game or had seen Rodgers play.

She also said that she doesn’t know Rodgers as one of the best football players in history, but as a “nerd” who loves the game show Jeopardy!.

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers reportedly met in the summer and became close and serious in a short amount of time. Woodley previously ended her relationship with rugby player Ben Volavola while Rodgers ended his long-term connection with racing driver Danica Patrick.

The couple kept their link under wraps for a long time before Rodgers hinted that things are getting serious earlier this month. During an NFL MVP Award acceptance speech, he said he was engaged and thanked his “fiancée,” although he didn’t mention Woodley by name.
