“The Shape of Water” Lead the 2018 Academy Awards Nominations

Nominations for 2018 Academy Awards are finally in with the latest directorial effort from Guillermo del Toro, The Shape of Water, leading the way with 13 nominations. Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk received eight nominations, while the critics’ favorite so far, Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri, received seven nominations.

The 90th Academy Awards ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, with talks show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel hosting. Kimmel will become the first person to host the Oscars in consecutive years since Billy Crystal did it in 1997 and 1998.
