Shazam Users Are All Over the New GoT Song by Florence + The Machine

If you watched the last Game of Thrones episode until the very end, you’ve probably noticed that harrowing Florence + The Machine song playing during the end credits. So did Shazam users, who couldn’t wait to hear it again.

This popular app allows people to instantly identify music that’s playing in the background, and it’s pretty useful when it comes to brand-new tunes you haven’t heard before. Jenny of Oldstones is the perfect example since Florence Welch created it specifically for the epic HBO series.

After the episode, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms aired, Game of Thrones fans couldn’t wait to find out more about the end credits song. Florence + The Machine single became the most Shazamed song in 126 countries one day later and entered enter Shazam’s Worldwide Top 10 chart.

It is unclear if Jenny of Oldstones will be included on the upcoming For the Throne soundtrack. This record will hit the shelves on April 26, and feature songs from The Weeknd, Mumford & Sons and Travis Scott.
