It appears that Sheryl Crow’s recent single, “Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You” featuring St. Vincent, was just a heads-up for the things that will follow. Nine times Grammy Award-winning singer just revealed that she will release a new album in 2019.

“I’ve got this record in the can that’s going to be coming out next year,” Crow said during her appearance on Kyle Meredith With… “It’s a very collaborative record with people I’ve asked to collaborate with me, people I’ve loved and have worked with and who have been heroes of mine forever.”

The 56-year-old also revealed that her new album will feature collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, and Don Henley among others. The surprising part is that this will be also her “last full album.”

“Albums as an art form are a bit of a dying art form. People are more interested in singles,” she added. “I’ve made the decision in my head that the record that comes out next year will be my last full album. I’ll just start putting songs out… to put out really pertinent songs that feel immediate.”

During her successful career, Sheryl Crow released ten studio albums and has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. Her latest release, Be Myself, came in 2017 and received positive reviews from the critics.
