Shot in Secret: A Breaking Bad Movie is Comming – and Soon

Bob Odenkirk and Bryan Cranston in "Breaking Bad"

It turns out Netflix has covertly filmed a movie sequel to Breaking Bad and it will stream on the network in less than two months. The movie El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will follow Jessie Pinkman who is being pursued by the authorities.

A teaser trailer released by the network shows a man being interrogated by the police about the whereabouts of Pinkman. “There is no way I’m helping you put Pinkman in a cage,” the man says.

Apparently, the news about the new movie leaked accidentally when Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul Goodman told Hollywood Reporter about it. “I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot,” he said. “They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.”

The Emmy winning series Breaking Bad came into its dramatic conclusion about 6 years ago. Since then another spin-off to the show became a critical success. Better Call Saul follows the character of Saul Goodman, who was Walter White’s lawyer in the original show. The AMC show is now in its 5th season.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will go online on October 11.

Both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are available on Netflix now.
