Yellowjackets is one of Showtime’s biggest hits in recent years, and there’s a lot of anticipation leading up to its upcoming season. The new trailer for Season 2 is here to give us a taste of things to come in the next chapter of this thrilling survival tale.

Yellowjackets centers on members of a high school girls’ soccer team, who descend into savage clans after their plane crashes in the remote northern wilderness. The series switches between two timeliness, focusing on both teenage and grown-up versions of the same characters, still struggling to come to terms with their past 25 years later.

The new trailer is soundtracked by Florence + the Machine’s cover of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl”, and it opens with a voiceover from Liv Hewson’ Van:

“Once upon a time, there was a place called the wilderness. It was beautiful, but it was also violent and misunderstood, and it waited and waited to befriend whoever arrived.”

The new trailer also introduces Lauren Ambrose as adult Van and Simone Kessell as adult Lottie. Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Liv Hewson, Courtney Eaton, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, and Christina Ricci are expected to return to their respective roles from the first season

Season 2 of Yellowjackets will arrive on Showtime on March 26, and it will feature eight episodes airing weekly.
