Comedian Ziwe Fumudoh created quite a splash with her variety show that premiered on Showtime earlier this year, and she’s gearing up for more. The network renewed this critically acclaimed series for the supersized second season.

Even before the show’s renewal, Fumudoh told Deadline she’s looking forward to having “more compelling, interesting conversations and constantly pushing the boundaries” in future seasons, and her dream is officially coming true.

“This show has exceeded my wildest imagination thanks to my brilliant cast, crew, and iconic guests. I am famously delighted to continue my collaboration with Showtime and A24,” said the host in an official statement.

The second season of Ziwe will feature a total of 12 episodes, split into two installments. That’s quite an improvement when compared to the first season, which premiered on May 9th and featured a total of six episodes. It featured sketches, songs, and interviews with several celebrity guests, including Cristin Milioti, Phoebe Bridgers, and Rachel Brosnahan.
