It’s been a while, but in 2019, Sia will be back with new music and a surprise feature-length musical.
The last album we have received from Sia is 2016’s This is Acting. The album was filled with songs she wrote that pop stars – including Beyonce and Adele – rejected. Sia bought them to life herself and we wouldn’t be surprised if the stars she originally wrote them for regretted turning them down when they heard the album.
In 2017, Sia released “Everyday It’s Christmas” but other than that, we haven’t really heard anything from her since. Being notoriously mysterious and discreet, we have barely seen her in the tabloids and have been wondering where she has been.
In A true Sia style, however, the star has announced casually over Twitter that we can expect new music from her in 2019.
A fan reached out to her, writing: “Please answer me love. When are we getting new music (like 2019 or later).”
