It’s been a while since Sia released her last studio album, but she’s finally ready for a comeback. The Australian singer announced the release of her next tenth studio album Reasonable Woman and shared the lead single from this record, titled “Gimme Love”.

“You don’t wanna dance with me /But, babe, that’s what I need, Please now, just this once / Dance, babe, dance, baby” sings Sia in the opening chorus of her new song. “Gimme Love” marks her first release of 2023 and her first single since “Unstoppable”, which was originally released as a part of her 2016 album This Is Acting before being sent to radio stations as a single six years later due to its rise in popularity thanks to TikTok.

“Gimme Love” will serve as the lead single from Sia’s upcoming album Reasonable Woman. This record will be released by Atlantic Records next spring, and its official release date is yet to be announced.

Sia hasn’t released a full-length solo album of original material since This Is Acting in 2016, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t busy. She made her directing debut with Music in 2021 and wrote 10 songs for its soundtrack, including “Together”, “Courage to Change”, and “Floating Through Space” ft. David Guetta.
