What is a Ghostbusters film without Sigourney Weaver?!
Luckily for us, the Avatar actress is on board for the franchise’s next installment!
Weaver played Dana Barrett in the first and second Ghostbusters films — a woman who required the services of the squad to some supernatural activity in her apartment.
With Jason Reitman taking over his father Ivan’s series 30 years later, it seems as though the 69-year-old actress is set to return.
“It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again!” she said.
Her words offer hope that she will be joined by the rest of the crew that includes Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson.
Production on Ghostbusters 3 is expected to start next month in Canada for 15 weeks, with the film out on July 10th, 2020.
