The Smashing Pumpkins Confirm Even More New Shows

Smashing Pumpkins have added a new set of tour dates this year.

The popular rock band has announced they will be performing several shows at the end of 2018 to celebrate the band’s 30th year anniversary. The band formed in 1988 and have released 9 studio albums, 4 live albums and 42 singles since then.

The group embarked on a huge reunion tour over summer and have two European dates left to play this October. The ‘shiny and Oh So Bright Tour’ saw bassist James Iha and guitarist Jimmy Chamberlin perform together on tour for the first time in over 20 years.

The new 30th-anniversary tour will kick off in Madison, Wisconsin and will hit several other US States. The list also includes a show at the band’s hometown, Chicago, St Louis.

December 1 – St. Louis, MO @ Stifel Theatre
December 2 – Tulsa, IK @ Brady Theater
December 4 – San Antonio, TX @ Sunken Garden Theater
December 6 – Tucson, AZ @ Rialto Theatre
December 7 – Phoenix, AZ @ Mesa Amphitheatre

Tickets for these new dates will go on sale Friday (October 5).
