So this has just happened. The Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner (better known to many as Sansa Stark) and singer Joe Jonas got engaged. The pair announced the engagement via Instagram. Turner posted a picture of her engagement ring on Instagram with title: “I said yes,” while Jonas posted the same picture and wrote: “She said yes.” You have to admit this is cute. The news was later confirmed by multiple sources close to the couple.
Although we are happy for them, this caught us little by surprise. The pair has been dating around a year now, but they kept their relationship private. Although Jonas mentioned he was dating someone in the summer of 2016, we had to wait until November to see some sparks. Sophie and Joe were spotted in Netherlands at a concert, and they looked pretty close. There were some dancing and kisses on the cheek included. At the beginning of 2017, Sophie decided to confirm all the rumors by posting a picture of Joe on a boat smoking a cigar. Once everything was official, Sophie and Joe were spotted holding hands.
Now, we can’t wait for the wedding pictures but they may not come soon enough. Sophie is currently busy filming the final season of Game of Thrones. Joe Jonas, on the other hand, is working hard to get himself in the spotlight again and is focused on the work with his new band DNCE.
