Sophie Turner Predicts What Future Has in Store for Sansa Stark

Sophie Turner in "Game of Thrones"

It’s been almost three months since Game of Thrones wrapped up, but fans of the show are still not over it. They’re still discussing what future might hold for their favorite characters, and Sophie Turner just threw a couple of ideas in the pot.

While discussing the role of Sansa Stark in a recent interview with Los Angeles Time, the young actress shared her hopes for the future of this character.

“No wars, no battles. I see her leading until she’s very old. I don’t see her getting married or having children. I think it would be a democratic kind of kingdom. She’d die of old age, very happy,” said Sophie Turner.

We’re really hoping that she’s right, since Sansa endured a lot in the past, and she deserves a happy ending as the Queen in the North. Turner also discussed her journey throughout the series and revealed how it mirrored her personal experiences.

“Being around Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey and all these incredible actors – Charles Dance – I started to find my footing. Sansa did the same thing, learning these politics and how to fit in, absorbing all this information from all these great manipulators,” explained the young actress.

Shortly after the Game of Thrones finale, Sophie Turner played one of the lead roles in Dark Phoenix, and she’s set to appear in revenge thriller Heavy and drama Broken Soldier.
