Game of Thrones came to an end a couple of months ago, and its star Sophie Turner is already gearing up for a TV comeback. She landed a lead role on thriller series Survive, set to premiere on upcoming the short-form mobile video platform Quibi.

This promising project is based on the novel of the same name by Richard Abate, and it tells the story of a young woman whose plane crashes on a remote snow-covered mountain. She embarks on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness alongside the only remaining survivor of the crash.

Emmy-nominated star will be joined by BlacKkKlansman actor Corey Hawkins in this intriguing series, and she said she couldn’t be more honored to take on the role of this formidable character.

“She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life, but to also find her own source of strength and courage. I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need,” said Turner in a press release.
