When it comes to outdoor festivals in the UK, you don’t get bigger than Glastonbury.

The spectacle gathers thousands of music fans to Glastonbury in Somerset where some of the biggest names in music keep the crowd on their feet.

Speculation always surrounds the festival line-up, with organiser Emily Eavis dropping hints over who might be included…

So far, she has ruled out Madonna, Led Zeppelin, and Fleetwood Mac.

But fans had hope that she may have just given the game away in a recent Instagram post.

“Wells Cathedral filled with 7000 candles.. beautiful and so peaceful,” she wrote of the church in Somerset.

Fans read into the words and came to the conclusion that it was a reference to Elton John’s song, Candle in the Wind.

Eavis replied, saying: “Ha! Thought there couldn’t possibly be any clues there but alas… (it’s not Elton).”

Whoever is selected as the 2019 headliner will be joined by Kylie Minogue and Stormzy.

Betting agencies have named the favourites for next year’s festival as Liam Gallagher, Arctic Monkeys, ABBA, and Kendrick Lamar.
