Soundtrack will not continue for a second season.

Multiple outlets confirm that Netflix has canceled the musical drama after one season only.

Soundtrack, which premiered on the streamer on December 18, followed “star-crossed lovers working their way through the struggles of modern life while lip-syncing along to the soundtrack of their inner monologue.”

Soundtrack hailed from creator Joshua Safran. It starred Paul James, Callie Hernandez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Jenna Dewan, Jahmil French, Megan Ferguson, Isaiah Givens, Madeleine Stowe, and Campbell Scott.
