Following a Sunday night leak, the official trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released.

The trailer sees Peter Parker face his most brutal enemy to date—the past. It also confirms the speculated multiverse plot which brings together Holland with previous villains of previous Spider-Man cinematic franchises including Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin.

Parker’s true identity was revealed in the final moments of the most recent sequel. Now that he’s been exposed, Parker’s life has become chaotic. Spider-Man tries to come up with a supernatural solution and he turns to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for a spell to undo the reveal. This results in Parker and Strange being sent into the multiverse and facing danger.

Zendaya will be reprising her role as MJ, Jacob Batalon is returning as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan. Jon Watts will be returning to direct his third installment in the Holland-led series.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 17. Watch the trailer below.
