Star producer and director Lee Daniels promise fans to “wrap up things up.”
Daniels took to Instagram Friday to announce that his canceled musical drama will return as a “movie of the week.” In the video he shared Friday he said, “We’re gonna make something real special for you to scream about, with all of our cast members — even the dead ones.”
The video captioned with “Get ready for a two hour GAG!!!!! ⭐️.”
Star, which was canceled back in May followed three talented young singers who navigate the music business on their road to success and stardom. The leading trio was played by Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, and Ryan Destiny, It also starred Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Brandy, Stephen Dorff, Keke Palmer, and more.
