Steven Spielberg and Quibi have teamed up to bring viewers a new and spooky series.

The news was announced at the Banff World Media Festival in Canada by Quibi (Quite Bites streaming service) founder Jeffrey Katzenberg.

But that’s not all — the horror series for will only be available for viewing only when it’s dark. Literally. Spielberg’s project came with an explicit request from the acclaimed director — the episodes are to be viewable only after midnight. An in-app clock will count down until the sun goes down, giving viewers a limited window to watch the series each night.

Katzenberg told Variety, “Steven Spielberg came in, and said, ‘I have a super scary story I want to do. He’s writing it himself. He hasn’t [written anything in a while] so getting him to write something is fantastic.” According to Katzenberg, Spielberg has already penned “five or six episodes of a 10 or 12 chapter story.”

Spielberg joins other Hollywood A-lister whose talents were tapped bi Quibi including Steven Soderbergh, Guillermo del Toro, Sam Raimi, Catherine Hardwick, Anna Kendrick, Doug Liman, Laurence Fishburne, and Antoine Fuqua.
