There have been multiple signs that Stranger Things could have filmed its final season.

Season three hasn’t debuted on Netflix yet but fans have noticed several clues that the upcoming third season might be the last they see of Hawkins.

Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven on the series has dropped some major hints on Instagram including a picture of her being really emotional as the production officially wrapped the upcoming season. She captioned another snap with her co-star Sadie Sink, who joined the second season as Max Mayfield, with “as we said goodbye, i gave my best friend the biggest hug and told her i loved her so much. My sister forever.” In return, Sink reposted the snap and wrote, “That’s a wrap on El and Max. Love you so much @milliebobbybrown. Thanks for the memories.”

Another major clue dropped when Finn Wolfhard plays Mike Wheeler shared a photo of his new haircut. Boasted much shorter tresses and the color purple, his selfie kicked the rumor mill into very high gear.

Rumors that the upcoming season will be Stranger Things’ last circulated back in February, but were soon debunked.

Season 3 of Stranger Things is expected to hit Netflix in summer 2019.
