The new season of Stranger Things is almost here, and if David Harbour is to be trusted – we should expect the unexpected.

The actor who won our hearts as Chief Jim Hopper discussed the new chapter of this epic story at the MCM Comic-Con, and he’s really got us excited about the new season.

“You get to see a lot of that throughout the season and it’s very unexpected what happens in the end and it’s very, very moving. I think episode eight is the most moving thing we’ve ever shot,” said Harbour.

He also discussed the relationship between his character and his new adopted daughter Eleven and said Hopper is terrified to see how quickly his little girl is growing up.

“The season starts with him a little bit uncomfortable. His daughter is becoming a teenager and beginning to find herself, so that’s scarier for Hopper than any Demogorgon creature that he’s going to have to deal with,” joked Harbour.

Season 3 of Stranger Things will consist of eight episodes and it will return to Netflix on July 4th.
