Succession went from being one of HBO’s biggest underdogs in Season 1 to an award darling in Season 2, and the next chapter will continue this tradition. The first trailer for the third season is here, and it promises an epic showdown between Kendall and Logan Roy.
The explosive teaser shows Kendall trying to convince the rest of his siblings to war against their father, in an attempt to seize control over the family business. As usual, all of the main characters have their own agenda and are equally hungry for power, so we can’t wait to see who comes on top at the end of Season 3.
The first teaser didn’t reveal the release date of the new season and simply stated it will come out later this fall. It marked the return of Succession’s main cast, led by Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, and Nicholas Braun.
Since its premiere in 2018, Succession received critical acclaim and several major awards. Season 2 of the show received both the Emmy and Golden Globe for the best drama series, among many other prestigious accolades.
