Dancing With the Stars is already promising an exciting season 30. The reality dance competition just announced that Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee and YouTube star JoJo Siwa will be part of the show’s cast for the upcoming season.

The 30th season is set to premiere on September 20th on ABC. The rest of the contestants will be revealed during a special on Good Morning America on September 8th.

The producers previously revealed that Siwa would be paired with a woman on the show. This will be the first same-sex pairing on Dancing With the Stars.

“I think it’s cool, I think it breaks a wall that’s never been done before,” said Siwa. “I think it’s really special that I get to share with the world that you can love who you love, but now you can dance with who you want to dance with.”

JoJo Siwa is known for taking part in another reality competition series, Dance Moms, appearing on the show’s season five and season six. Since 2015, Siwa is running a popular YouTube channel that currently has more than 12 million subscribers. She also released several popular singles and has three extended plays.

Suni Lee joins a number of other popular American gymnasts who took part in Dancing With the Stars, including Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez, and Nastia Liukin. Lee is fresh from winning three medals at Tokyo Olympics, including gold in All-around.
