Super Bowl LVI is coming to California this winter, and it’s shaping up to be an epic, hip-hop bonanza. The list of headliners for the upcoming event will include some of the biggest names on the hip-hop scene—Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.

Pepsi is returning as the sponsor of this year’s Super Bowl, and their VP of marketing, Todd Kaplan discussed the list of performers: “Artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were at the forefront of the West Coast hip hop revolution, so to be able to bring them back to LA, where it all began alongside Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will prove to be an epic, unforgettable celebration of the impact hip hop has today.”

The five artists have 43 Grammys and 22 no. 1 albums on the Billboard charts between them, and this will be the first time they perform by each other’s side. Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation is serving as the strategic entertainment advisor of the live performance, and they’re promising a larger-than-life performance of hits from the group’s deep collective catalog.

Super Bowl LVI will take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on February 13th, 2022.
