This Friday we’ll have to say goodbye to Swamp Thing as the DC Universe show comes to an early end. But the series executive producer Mark Verheiden wants fans to stick around to the very end. In his twitter account, Verheiden teased a post-credit scene that will surprise the fans. He did not reveal what the surprise will be.
This cryptic tweet caused, naturally, a wave of speculations among fans. Theories varied from possible news of an unexpected renewal to a tease of Justice League Dark or of Constantine project. Other speculations claim that the series crew and cast will use this scene to thank the loyal fan base.
speculation about a renewal can maybe build hopes on the recent announcement that doom Patrol – another DC Universe original series will debut both on DC and on HBO Max next season. Some fans hope that a similar arrangement can save swamp thing.
One way or another, we’ll get an answer this Friday, August 2nd.
