If edgy rom-coms happen to be your favorite genre, Anyone But You certainly deserves a spot on your watch list. Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell star in its highly-anticipated first trailer about two people pretending to be a couple during a destination wedding in Australia.
Anyone But You centers on Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell), who may look like a perfect couple – but they’re anything but. After an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold, until they’re forced to attend a destination wedding in Australia by each other’s side.
The list of attendees also happens to include their respective exes, so they decide to do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple. Will they be able to get away with this ruse, or will everyone notice they’re up to something before the happy couple even walks down the aisle?
The supporting cast of Anyone But You includes Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths. Will Gluck was in charge of directing this rom-com, based on a script he co-wrote with Ilana Wolpert, and we’ll get to see it in the theaters on December 22.
