After inheriting the team following her husband’s passing, she has to deal with this new life with her dysfunctional family’s help, including her oldest son, a baseball fan with Down’s Syndrome (Gottsagen), her work family, and the Sacramento community.
The project is inspired by Susan Savage, the real owner of the Triple A World Champion River Cats.
Becky Hartman Edwards will write and executive produce the show along with Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor of Kapital Entertainment executive producing with Joel Zadak of Artists First and Susan Savage. In addition to starring, Huffman will executive produce with Gottsagen producing.
This marks Huffman’s return to acting as she recently completed a short prison sentence due to her involvement in the college admissions scandal. She’s known for her roles in ABC’s Desperate Housewives, American Crime, and Sports Night.
The actress won an Emmy for her time on Desperate Housewives and a Golden Globe for her film Transamerica. Her most recent work includes When They See Us and Get Shorty.

Penned by Lloyd and Vali Chandrasekaran, the series follows three men—two of them played by Grammer and Baldwin—who were roommates in their 20s until their warring egos drove them apart. They reunite decades later for one more run at the lives they’ve always wanted. The third cast member will be announced at a later date.
The still-untitled series will be Baldwin’s first major television role since 30 Rock. He’s currently a regular on Saturday Night Live portraying President Donald Trump.
Grammer is best known for his roles on Cheers and Frasier.
The series is slated for the 2021-22 season.

The Painter and The Thief centers on Czech artist Barbora Kysilkova who is desperate for answers about the theft of her two paintings and her relationship with Karl Bertil-Nordland, the man who stole it.
The docu pic won the Creative Storytelling at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. It also won the Best Documentary Feature award at the BFI London Film Festival, and received two Critics’ Choice Awards nominations.

Encell will serve as writer and executive producer. Also on board is The Office producer Danny Chun, who will serve as an executive producer.
According to the outlet, Borderline centers on “goody-two-shoes Steve, who falls for reckless Maria. Their whirlwind romance is cut short when she gets deported. Now they must decide whether to bail on the potential love of their lives or take a leap of faith and get married.”
Encell’s other credits include Netflix’s On My Block and Barely, California.

]]>For Life, inspired by the life of Issac Wright Jr., is a fictional drama about an imprisoned man, Aaron Wallace (Nicholas Pinnock), who becomes a lawyer litigating cases for other inmates while trying to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit.
“It has been a profound honor working with Isaac Wright, Jr. and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson to create a show that, through the prism of Isaac’s experience in our broken criminal justice system, has been able to highlight the racial inequality that plagues this country,” said series creator Hank Steinberg.
The show also stars Indira Varma, Joy Bryant, Mary Stuart Masterson, Boris McGiver, Dorian Missick, Tyla Harris, and Timothy Busfield.
The Baker and the Beauty followed Daniel Garcia (Victor Rasuk), who works for his Cuban family’s bakery. He wants to make his family proud, but on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton (Nathalie Kelley), an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life quickly moves into the spotlight.

Multiple outlets confirm that the hit singing competition has been renewed for season 4, however, the network has yet to reveal whether the judges — Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, are set to return.
News of the renewal follows the series return after its production shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The show is now currently airing its third with remotely produced episodes and is set to air its live finale Sunday virtually with America’s real-time vote determining the winner live.
