]]>A Friends reunion is something that fans have been seeking since, well, 2004 when the show ended. At last, it has been confirmed that the six stars of the show will be reuniting on the original set.
David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the show, appeared on E! News to talk about his new comedy series, Intelligence. Naturally, the hosts couldn’t help but bring up the highly-anticipated Friends reunion and fortunately, Schwimmer was more than happy to share his feelings about the upcoming special.
“I guess what I’m honestly most looking forward to is just being in the room with those other five actors,” he said. In typical Ross Geller style, he then quipped: “It’s five, right? That was a joke.”
He then explained that he is most looking forward to being back on set. He said: “Being on the actual sound stage on the actual set for the first time in 10 years, the set that we shot on for 10 years, that to me is going to be a really meaningful experience.”
The Friends reunion will be unscripted and will take place later this year.

]]>Cox, who played Monica Gellar on the show, came to Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new Facebook Watch docuseries about pregnancy, Nine Months.
Cox, who on Tuesday still hadn’t opened an Instagram account told DeGeneres that she’s planning on it to promote her new series. So DeGeneres, decided to help with a photoshoot on a fake Central Perk set so Cox would have something to post on.
As the two sat down on the sofa and faked laughed their way through several clicks of the camera, DeGeneres said that it would be nice if Lisa Kudrow would have joined them and lo and behold — in walks Kudrow!
“I wanted to be there for you,” Kudrow told a surprised Cox.
“You’re here!” Cox said. “This is a shock.”

]]>The bad news is that your favorite friends will not be returning to your screens.
It’s been 14 years since Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, Ross, and Rachel vacated their couch in Central Perk, with hopes for a Friends reunion as bright as the one where Ross overbleached his teeth.
Sadly, though, that ain’t gonna happen, according to co-creator, David Crane. During TheWrap’s Emmy Series comedy showrunners panel, Crane said of a possible Friends revival: “Never happening. Never. We did it! It’s done. That’s why you don’t want to see more of it because it’s all a happy ending.”
What kind of ending? Ross and Rachel are still together, as are Monica and Chandler.
Very good news, indeed.

“Anything is a possibility, Ellen,” said Aniston, giving us a glimpse of hope. “Anything! Right? I mean, George Clooney got married…That’s like an anything can happen.”

Talks about Friends reunion were sparked again when a fake Friends movie trailer surfaced on the internet.
Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) also gave her take on the reunion after the fake movie trailer went viral.
“They’re rebooting everything, but I don’t know how does that work with Friends, though?” said Kudrow during her appearance on the Conan talk show. “That was about people in their, you know, 20s, 30s. The show isn’t about people in their 40s, 50s. And if we have the same problems then that’s just sad. That’s not fun!”
David Schwimmer, on the other hand, was more specific.
“I just don’t know if I want to see all of us with…like, walkers,” he told the Megyn Kelly. “I doubt it. Thank you for asking, and moving on.”
Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends ran from 1994 to 2004, lasting ten seasons. It became one of the most popular TV shows in the history with a huge cultural impact and loyal fanbase which keeps on growing.
