Friends star David Schwimmer reveals what he is most looking forward to about the upcoming Friends reunion.

A Friends reunion is something that fans have been seeking since, well, 2004 when the show ended. At last, it has been confirmed that the six stars of the show will be reuniting on the original set.

David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the show, appeared on E! News to talk about his new comedy series, Intelligence. Naturally, the hosts couldn’t help but bring up the highly-anticipated Friends reunion and fortunately, Schwimmer was more than happy to share his feelings about the upcoming special.

“I guess what I’m honestly most looking forward to is just being in the room with those other five actors,” he said. In typical Ross Geller style, he then quipped: “It’s five, right? That was a joke.”

He then explained that he is most looking forward to being back on set. He said: “Being on the actual sound stage on the actual set for the first time in 10 years, the set that we shot on for 10 years, that to me is going to be a really meaningful experience.”

The Friends reunion will be unscripted and will take place later this year.
