Taylor Swift has given us a lot of new music in the past few years, and she’s showing no signs of stopping! Her eleventh studio album The Tortured Poets Department was worth the wait, and she celebrated its release by dropping a music video for the Post Malone collaboration “Fortnight”.

Directed by Swift herself, the music video for “Fortnight” sees the singer fully embracing the madness of being in love. Most of the video takes place inside a mental asylum, where the Dead Poets Society stars Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles conduct experiments on Swift alongside Post Malone, who also plays her co-worker and love interest in the video.

“Fortnight” was released as the lead single from The Tortured Poets Department, and bringing Post Malone for the ride was a dream come true for Swift.

“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation, and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever.  got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight,’” she wrote on social media.

“Fortnight” serves as the opening track of Swift’s latest studio album The Tortured Poets Department, which hit the shelves on April 19. Its standard edition features a total of 16 brand-new songs, but Swift also released the second volume subtitled The Anthology, which features 15 more tracks.
