This year’s list of inductees is quite historic because three of them—Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Tina Turner, and Carole King—entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the second time. Chairman John Sykes also noted it’s a true rarity that three of the six inductees are women.

“This is our most diverse class in the history of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It really represents the Hall’s ongoing commitment to honor the artists that have created not only rock & roll, but the sound of youth culture,” said Sykes in a statement.

The induction ceremony is expected to take place on October 30th at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The glitzy music video for “Sorry Not Sorry” isn’t exactly plot-driven, but that’s not stopping it from being epic. It shows DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, and Nas all dressed up at a casino, placing bets and stacking chips like there’s no tomorrow.

The name of the later artist caused confusion when “Sorry Not Sorry” first came out, but it’s wildly believed that it refers to Beyoncé, whose voice popped up during Jay-Z’s verse.

Jay-Z’s leaving of the festival comes only one day after John Fogerty announced the same. Fogerty, who played in the original Woodstock in 1969 with Creedence Clearwater Revival, decided to leave after the organizer, Michael Lang, announced a change of venue. The Festival was to take place in Watkins Glen International Speedway in upstate New York, but it was decided that it would not be able to support the number of people due to arrive at the festival and a change is needed. 

Now Lang is negotiating to move the festival to Merriweather Post Pavilion, a venue between Baltimore and Washington D.C. – a move that does not sit well with Fogerty and other bands. ”John Fogerty knows where he will be for the anniversary weekend of Woodstock,” read the announcement of Fogery crew. “At only one site… at the original one – the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.”

The festival was plagued with financial and logistical troubles for some months now. In April a marketing firm that was financing the festival pulled out her funds and announced that the event is canceled. Lang, however, claimed that this is not their decision and continued to promote it.

Musical duo will be presented with a GLAAD Vanguard Award, created specifically for LGBTQ allies who made a huge difference. GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said she couldn’t be prouder to announce they’re the latest recipients of this prestigious honor.

“Beyoncé and JAY-Z are global icons and passionate defenders of human rights and acceptance for all people. When Beyoncé and JAY-Z speak, the world becomes inspired and when it comes to LGBTQ people, their voices of acceptance have been heard loud and clear,” said Ellis.

The Carters will be presented with this award in Los Angeles on March 28. This won’t be the first time Jay-Z to picks up GLAAD’s special recognition. He was honored for discussing his mother’s process of coming out in the song Smile.

During their On The Run II tour performance in Detroit, Beyoncé and Jay Z dedicated their concert to the 76-year-old.

During their first show in Cardiff, Wales, the Carters displayed video footage of what appeared to be them renewing their vows.

The celebration, attended by family members — including the couple’s new twins, Rumi and Sir — included Queen Bey donning a white dress, complete with veil.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z first tied the knot in 2008, making this year their 10-year reunion.
