The Guinness World Records announced that “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” helped Shakira set 14 new records, from being the most streamed Latin track on Spotify in 24 hours and in one week to being the most viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours and the fastest Latin track to reach 100 million views.

Shakira found a way to celebrate her latest achievement – by delivering the first live performance of her latest hit. She appeared alongside the Argentinian DJ and producer Bizarrap on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, revealed her kids convinced her to work with him and shared a personal story behind the song’s lyrics.

“I’ve had a very rough year after my separation, and writing this song has been so important to me. It’s been a healthy way to channel my emotions,” said the singer.

NBCUniversal Television and Streaming chairman Susan Rovner made the announcement during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation. Rovner highlighted Fallon’s importance to the company and that’s he’s involved in six other projects.

“This year alone, Jimmy is the executive producer, creator and/or star of six projects. So, of course, we have The Tonight Show, which I’m very excited to say that we’ve renewed officially for five year. We have Clash of the Cover Bands on E!. And at NBC, we are reimagining the 1960s game show Password, That’s My Jam, an animated holiday special called 5 More Sleeps ’til Christmas, based on his children’s book. And at Peacock, we have The Kids Tonight Show,” Rovner said at the event.

Fallon starting host the show in February 2014, taking over for Jay Leno. Conan O-Brien, Johnny Carson, Jack Paar, and Steve Allen also fronted the show.

Even though it was just announced, the renewal is understood to have been completed a while ago. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has fallen behind CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live in viewership.

Paul Rudd and Jimmy Fallon tapped their musical talents Thursday to recreate Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).”

The replication of the 1985 iconic musical video is shot for shot and we have to say it’s their best one yet! The pair have teamed up before replicating Styx’s “Too Much Time On My Hands” and Go West’s “King of Wishful Thinking.”

The original clip for the hit song, which reached No. 11 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985, was directed by Vaughan Arnell and Anthea Benton. It paid homage to the Hindu God Vishnu, which was re-imagined to include a disco ball and gold flags and who can forget Pete Burns’ signature eye patch.

“[It was] very disturbing. I didn’t realize he’s hard to sing, Pete Burns … He’s got such a strange vibrato,” Rudd said. While Rudd described the experience as unsettling, Fallon said that for him the process of filming the video was quite “disturbing.”

Born Macaulay Carson Culkin, the Home Alone actor didn’t quite feel as though his middle name fitted with his two others, as he told Jimmy Fallon.

“So I was staring at my passport recently and stuff, and I was looking over my middle name — my current middle name is Carson — and I thought I should probably spruce up my name a little bit,” he said on The Tonight Show.

The actor currently has 5 possible options which he is asking the public to vote on: Macaulay Culkin, Shark Week, Kieran, The McRib Is Back, Kieran, and Publicity Stunt.

The latter two were suggested by his brother Kieran, and girlfriend Brenda Song, respectively.

“Macaulay Culkin” is currently in the lead on his website, which would make his name “Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin”.

The new moniker will be revealed on Christmas Eve as a Christmas present to the actor from himself.

“I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am,” she said on The Tonight Show. “It’s pretty messed up.”

“This just changed your Wikipedia page right now,” Jimmy replied.

“It wasn’t necessarily because of her, but yes, in second grade, did I go up to the teacher and ask her on the first day to call me Emma? Yes, I did,” said the 30-year-old. “Was it because of Emma Lee Bunton of the Spice Girls? Yes, it was.”

Groups of fans were riding the elevator to tour 30 Rockefeller Center. When the doors opened, however, they were met with comical scenes from McCartney and Fallon.

The first group were amazed to see the pair lounging on armchairs with velvet robes and a newspaper. First Fallon lowered his newspaper to reveal his face and fans screamed. When McCartney revealed himself as the second man, fans nearly fell over in shock.

Each group was treated with the pair’s various antics. One group opened the door to Fallon performing a magic trick where he held up a blanket and revealed McCartney underneath. Another group simply watched the rock legend and TV star playing ping pong.

“I thought when I was little I was going to marry Paul McCartney,” one fan said. “So that’s the closest I ever got and I am thrilled.”

In the final scene, however, the tables turned as the pair sang ‘Drive My Car’ only to be met with an empty elevator. Watch the full clip here:
