Michael Sheen and David Tennant led the series as Aziraphale and Crowley, while its star-studded supporting cast included Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Derek Jacobi, Brian Cox, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Frances McDormand.
Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, confirmed the show’s renewal for its final season and promised its next chapter will be packed with the same dynamic energy that fans of this show have come to enjoy.
“Good Omens has checked every box for a clever, witty, and funny comedy that not only made it a success on Prime Video but also made ‘goodness’ watchable and fun thanks to Neil and Terry’s immense creativity,” said Sanders in an official statement.
The production of the final season is underway in Scotland, and it will most likely feature six episodes.

]]>This limited series will chronicle Prince Andrew’s disastrous interview with Newsnight’s reporter Emily Maitlis. It will follow Maitlis’ (Wilson) professional and personal journey as she prepares for her acclaimed interview with the disgraced royal Prince Andrew (Sheen).
In addition to the leading duo, A Very Royal Scandal will also star Joanna Scanlan as Amanda Thirsk, Alex Jennings as Sir Edward Young, and Éanna Hardwicke as Stewart Maclean. Julian Jarrold is coming on board as director and serves as one of the executive producers alongside Karen Thrussell, Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin, Diarmuid McKeown, Jeremy Brock, and Maitlis.
Ruth Willson, the Emmy-winning star of The Affair, most recently appeared in the BBC mystery drama The Woman in the Wall. She’s also attached to the biopic The Book of Ruth and star-studded drama Andorra.
Michael Sheen is leading Amazon Prime Video’s fantasy series Good Omens alongside David Tennant, and he also appeared in the British series Staged and Best Interests earlier this year.

]]>The first season follows Sheen’s Aziraphale and Tennant’s Crowley after joining forces to prevent the coming of the Antichrist and stop Armageddon from happening so they could continue their harmonious existence on Earth.
The second season will see them trying to get back to easy living amongst mortals—until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up at their door, with no memory of who he is. They must hide him from both Heaven and Hell, thus disrupting the peaceful existence they worked so hard for.
The star-studded ensemble cast has always been one of Good Omen’s biggest strengths, and the first season also featured Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall, Nick Offerman, Brian Cox, Mireille Enos, and Frances McDormand.
Good Omens draws inspiration from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel of the same name, and it originally premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2019. It’s been renewed for the second season in 2021, and we’ll finally get to see it on July 28.

]]>This crime show centers on Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne), a criminal psychologist with a special talent to view crimes from the killer’s perspective. Part of the reason why he possesses this ability is the fact his father was the infamous serial killer known as “The Surgeon”.
Michael Sheen will return to the role of Bright’s father, who’s currently serving a sentence in an asylum. Zeta-Jones will join him in the role of Dr. Vivian Capshaw, who works at the Claremont Psychiatric Hospital.
Fox’s president of entertainment Michael Thorn announced her casting and set high expectations for her on-screen pairing with Sheen. “An extraordinary talent, Catherine Zeta-Jones is the perfect foil for the brilliant Michael Sheen. I can’t wait to see these two greats go head-to-head in a season that is bound to raise the bar set by an outstanding Season One,” said Thorn in a statement.

]]>Michael Sheen has been tapped to star in CBS All Access’ drama The Good Fight. The Masters of Sex will portray an unscrupulous lawyer in the series’ third season.
The casting was announced by the service Wednesday. Sheen’s character, Roland Blum was described as “a brilliant, charismatic and Machiavellian lawyer… a man of appetites, drugs, sex, you name it, who’s far more interested in winning than the niceties of following the law.”
Sheen joins series regulars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi and Delroy Lindo.
Season Three of The Good Fight is set to premiere in early 2019 and will continue to follow the struggles, scandals, and successes of Diane Lockhart (Baranski) Adrian Boseman (Lindo) and Liz Reddick-Lawrence (McDonald). The new season will also see Lucca Quinn (Jumbo) trying to balance her new baby with a new love while Maia Rindell (Leslie) going head to head with Sheen’s character.
