“I’ve been pulled through time, between the past and the present. If what I saw is true, there’s nothing that stands between this world and utter destruction,” he explains during a reflective voiceover.
In addition to Hiddleston and Wilson, Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Tara Strong are also expected to return in Season 2, along with Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. ]]>Paris Paramount will focus on an above-the-line filmmaking duo who begrudgingly reunite on set after falling in and out of love with one another. In addition to directing this film, Meyers also wrote the script, and she’ll serve as one of its producers.
Paris Paramount is the latest big-budget Netflix comedy, and the streamer reportedly cashed out $100 million to make it happen, according to Deadline. The budgeting is still being worked through, and Johansson, Cruz, Fassbender, and Wilson are yet to officially close their deals.
The casting is pretty impressive since the ensemble consists of Oscar winners and nominees. Cruz won the Academy Award for Vicky Cristina Barcelona, while Fassbender and Johansson scored two nominations each. Wilson is a one-time nominee, but he received his nod for screenwriting, rather than acting.
Paris Paramount will mark Nancy Meyers’ first directorial effort since the 2015 buddy comedy The Intern starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. Her credits as a director also include The Parent Trap, Something’s Gotta Give, and The Holiday.

]]>According to the film’s official synopsis, Paint centers on “Carl Nargle, Vermont’s No. 1 public TV painter who is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke… until a younger, better artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves.”
This description makes it clear that Paint isn’t a direct Bob Ross biopic, but a single glimpse at Carl Nargle is all it takes to figure out who he was inspired by. Wilson’s look in this movie is clearly modeled after Ross, who hosted The Joy of Painting for over a decade and stayed a beloved figure long after his death in 1995.
Wilson is fresh off the success of the Disney+ series Loki, and we’ve also seen him star in Marry Me and Secret Headquarters last year. In addition to Paint, he’ll also appear in the star-studded horror comedy Haunted Mansion later this year.
Paint will hit the theaters on April 7 and its cast also includes Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renée, Lusia Strus, and Stephen Root.

Malek will host on October 16th alongside Young Thug, while Sudeikis is set to be joined by Brandi Carlile on October 23rd.
What makes their involvement so extraordinary is that all four will make their hosting debuts, despite the fact they’re no strangers to the SNL stage. Jason Sudeikis was even a cast member of the show from 2005 to 2013, before embarking on a solo career and winning an Emmy for Ted Lasso.
Owen Wilson previously appeared on SNL as his Zoolander character Hansel alongside Ben Stiller, but this will be his first solo appearance. Kim Kardashian and Rami Malek were both poked fun of by the comedy show, but this will be their first time to make an appearance in person.

]]>The feature will be based on Disney theme park’s iconic attraction of the same name and is set to start filming this fall. Justin Simien (Dear White People) will direct from a script penned by Katie Dippold (Snatched).
Besides Wilson, the list of other confirmed cast members includes Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, and Tiffany Haddish. The story of the movie is still being kept under wraps, but we should expect lots of ghosts and other supernatural creatures in all shapes and forms.
The project follows the highly successful movie adaptation of the Disney theme park ride Jungle Cruise. The feature, which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt, proved to be a huge box office hit and has already warranted a sequel.
The Haunted Mansion attraction was previously adapted to film in 2003 with Eddie Murphy in the leading role. The movie did solid in the theaters but was universally panned by the critics.
Back in 2010, Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro expressed interest in doing a new The Haunted Mansion movie. He even wrote the script, but the project never took off.

]]>While there have been reports that Wilson, Vaughn, Isla Fisher, and Rachel McAdams were for making a sequel for HBO Max and that production would be starting this summer, Wilson told Variety the sequel is still in the early planning stages.
“Some people are saying that you guys are going to be going in August, and that’s not right,” Wilson told Variety, adding that director David Dobkin “has been working on something,” and that he has been “talking with Vince”.
“If we all agree that we have a good idea, then we’re trying to make something good. But it’s sort of figuring out what that idea would be and if we think we could do something worthwhile,” Wilson added.
This isn’t the first time there’s been talks about a sequel. In 2014, Dobkin said on a Quora forum that he was brainstorming an idea for a sequel with Wilson and Vaughn with Daniel Craig in a Speedo. In 2016, while on the Today show, Fisher said that New Line Cinema was working on sequel.

]]>Multiple outlets confirm that Owen Wilson has joined Tom Hiddleston in Loki the forthcoming Disney+ series.
Per the outlet, there’s no word on Wilson’s role, but it’s said that he’s set to play a major character.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be executive produced by Kevin Feige, just like all of the announced Marvel shows for Disney+.
“You guys saw Avengers, right?” Hiddleston said during the show’s Comic-Con reveal in 2019. “So he’s still that guy. And just about the last thing that happened to him was he got Hulk-smashed. So there’s a lot of psychological evolution that is still yet to happen. Kevin [Feige] has generally shown me what his plans are. I can’t tell you any of them, but it is one of the most exciting creative opportunities I think I’ve ever come across. This is new territory, a new world, new challenges, and I cannot wait to get started.”
Filming is currently underway on Loki.

It has now been announced that she will be starring alongside fellow romcom alum, Owen Wilson, in a film from STXFilms.
The movie is entitled Marry Me, which seems fitting as J.Lo just got engaged to longtime boyfriend Alex Rodriguez!
Based on a graphic novel, Marry Me is about a pop star bride who ditches her lying, cheating groom at the altar in front of a crowd of thousands, and in the spirit of “the show must go on,” picks a random man in attendance (played by Wilson) and goes through with the ceremony!
Kat Coiro, who has directed episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, will be helming the project.
