Taika Waititi has another series set at FX.

The filmmaker already has What We Do in the Shadows, which is heading into a third season at the network. For the new series, Waititi is teaming up with Native American writer and director Sterlin Harjo.

Reservation Dogs follows four Native Oklahoma teenagers who commit and fight crimes. The series stars D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Devery Jacobs, Paulina Alexis, and Lane Factor playing the teens. The pilot also features Tamara Podemski, Zahn McClarnon, Macon Blair, Kirk Fox, Matty Cardarople, Dallas Goldtooth, Lil Mike, and Funny Bone.

The pilot was co-written by Waititi and Harjo, who also directed. The show was shot in Oklahoma, which is where all of Harjo’s other documentaries are set. They’ll be executive producing alongside What We Do in the Shadows producer Garret Barsch.

Harjo’s previous work includes Mekko and Barking Water. He also recently helmed an episode of The Magicians. On the TV side of things Waititi has Our Flag Means Death and Time Bandits in the works.
