Take That have canceled their world tour plans.

To celebrate their 30th anniversary (WE know.. it’s been that long), Take That have been planning a big world tour. They were heading to Australia and North and South America to play shows in some of the world’s biggest and best music venues.

Now, the band has revealed that the plans have been canceled due to the news of illness in Gary Barlow’s family. They have now decided to only play tour dates in Europe so that Gary can be close to home.

Gary Barlow told The Daily Mirror: “We had a big ambition next year to do a world tour, but I have actually got an illness in my family and it means I am not going to travel for the next two years extensively.

“So all the plans for South America and Australia that were coming off…

“I thank my two bandmates who have been so very understanding, but I just have to be at home – I cannot leave. I didn’t want people getting frustrated that we’re not getting out there. I’m a little stuck at the moment, so please be understanding.”

We will share the updated tour dates when they are revealed.
