The premiere date of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is about a month away and expectations are running high. Its leading lady Tatiana Maslany added some more fuel to the fire in a recent interview with Empire Magazine, where she dropped some major hints about the upcoming Marvel show.

The Orphan Black star believes that Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk is unlike any character we’ve seen in the MCU shows before because she tries to run away from her powers instead of fully embracing them.

“She really is the antithesis of most superhero narratives. There’s this great element of denial in her that’s relatable. For me, it was about rejecting what’s happened for as long as I could, as that’s what causes the fun tension between Jennifer and She-Hulk,” said Maslany.

She also reflected on the experience of working with Mark Ruffalo, saying they were always goofing around on set, like two kids who had been handed shovels by their parents and told to go and play in the sandbox. He’s set to return as Bruce Banner aka the Hulk, after playing this character in the series of other MCU projects.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on Disney+ on August 17 and its cast will also include Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, and Benedict Wong.
