One of the most recognizable tattoo artists in the world, Kat Von D, has decided to settle down. The 35-year-old revealed on Wednesday via her Instagram profile that she married Mexican-born singer Rafael Reyes (AKA Leafar Seyer). “Today, I married my soul’s mate, my mind’s twin, my best friend” – wrote Kat Von D and posted a photo of their hands wearing wedding rings.
Reyes posted the same photo with caption: “Today I married the girl of my dreams [En Vida Y En Muerte]”
This is Kat Von D’s second marriage, being previously married to fellow tattoo artist Oliver Peck from 2003 to 2007. After the divorce, she dated Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and reality star Jesse James before getting engaged to music producer Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) in 2012. After a year, the couple split. Before getting into a relationship with Reyes, she briefly dated Jackass star Steve-O in 2016. Although she got away from the TV shows in recent time, Kat Von D was active as a singer being featured on three songs on IAMX’ 2018 album Alive in New Light.
Rafael Reyes is best known as a vocalist for electronic rock duo Prayers, with whom he most recently released an album titled Baptism of Thieves.
