Taylor Swift is one of those artists who always have another trick up their sleeve, and her next surprise project is only a few weeks away. Her new documentary Miss Americana is coming to Netflix, and we won’t have to wait for too long to see it.

Swift’s new documentary will have its world premiere on January 23rd, at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival and it will only take a week for the rest of the world to see it. The Lana Wilson-directed film will start streaming on Netflix on January 31rd.

Netflix’s official logline describes this project as a “raw and emotionally revealing look at Taylor Swift; following one of the most iconic artists of our time as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.”

Swift first announced she’s working on this project back in November, a couple of months after her latest album Lover came out. The documentary borrows its title from the singer’s track “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince”, which still hasn’t been released as a single.
