Taylor Swift set several major American Music Awards records over the years, and this organization is celebrating her contributions to the music industry with very special honor. She’s set to receive Artist of the Decade Award at the upcoming AMAs ceremony.

Mark Bracco, executive VP of programming and development at Dick Clark Productions, the organization in charge of producing the American Music Awards, broke the news by praising the singer in an official press release.

“Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular. We’re thrilled to honor her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!” the statement read.

With a total of 24 awards under her belt, Swift shares the record for most American Music Awards with Michael Jackson. That number could become much higher at this year’s ceremony, taking place on November 24th, since she’s in the running in six different categories – including artist of the year.
