We can always count on Taylor Swift to come up with creative ways to tease her new music and she’s taking things up a notch with her new album Midnights. She’s revealing the song titles, one by one, by drawing lottery numbers in a series of cheeky TikTok clips.
Swift kicked off this TikTok series, called Midnights Mayhem With Me, by revealing the title of the 13th track, called “Mastermind”. She was shown using a lottery cage to draw ping pong balls with numbers between 1 and 13 and drew them to reveal the title of the corresponding track.
Swift most recently revealed the title of the ninth song of the album, called “Bejeweled”, and she’s about halfway through right now. Some of the songs set to be featured on her upcoming album are called “Maroon”, “Anti-Hero”, “Midnight Rain”, “Questions…?”, and “Vigilante S—t”.
Swift announced Midnights in her acceptance speech at the recent MTV VMAs, where she collected the award for the video of the year for “All Too Well”. Midnights will hit the shelves on October 21, and she described it as “a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.”
