Most people know Taylor Swift as the award-winning singer who tops the charts with each new album she shares with the world, but she’s no stranger to acting. Her next movie project will see her joining forces with the five-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker David O. Russell.

The film in question is being developed under the working title Canterbury Glass, and it will center on a doctor and a lawyer who form an unlikely partnership. It will be O. Russell’s first film in over five years, as it serves as the follow-up to his 2015 dramedy Joy.

The director of American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook is no stranger to working with star-studded acting ensembles, but he really upped his game for his next project. In addition to Swift, Canterbury Glass is also set to star Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Robert De Niro, and Anya Taylor-Joy, among others.

Swift hasn’t appeared on the big screen since starring in the musical Cats in 2019. Her filmography also includes the dystopian drama The Giver, romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, and a voice role in The Lorax.
