Taylor Swift knows that music has the power to heal.

The 28-year-old performed in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Thursday night as part of her Reputation World Tour.

Amidst the crowd were several members of the Weymouth Police Department who were not there to protect the audience, but rather as special guests of Taylor herself.

The community is currently experiencing enormous grief following the death of Sgt. Michael Chesna who was killed whilst responding to a report of an erratic driver, and 77-year-old widow, Vera Adams, who was also fatally shot during the incident while sitting in the sunroom of her home.

After hearing of the terrible encounter, the “Delicate” singer decided to send tickets for her show to every police officer, firefighter, their extended family, and even some other residents of the town.

Now that’s how you maintain a good reputation.
