“All Too Well” is one of the most touching songs that Taylor Swift has ever written, and it now comes with an equally emotional music video. The Grammy-winning singer used its lyrics as the premise for a short film, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.

“All Too Well” was originally released in 2012, as one of the songs from her hit album Red. Swift released its re-recorded version Red (Taylor’s Version) on November 12th and gave fans something they’ve been waiting for for years—a 10-minute version of “All Too Well”.

Just like the lyrics themselves, the short film chronicles the fallout of a relationship between a young couple, from their happy days in upstate New York to fights, heartbreaks, and their eventual breakup. When conceiving the short, Taylor Swift couldn’t envision anyone but Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien playing the lead roles, and the film finally started taking shape once they agreed to do it.

“I cast Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien—who are incredible actors… and they could not have blown me away more. It was the most unbelievable experience working with people who are that prepared [and] committed. Just the chemistry between them is on another planet,” Swift told Jimmy Fallon.
