After weeks of anticipation, the MTV Video Music Awards finally took place on Sunday night, and Taylor Swift was the night’s shiniest star. She picked up the award for the video of the year with “All Too Well” and used her speech to announce her next studio album.

In addition to the video of the year, “All Too Well” also won trophies for best longform video and best direction. In her acceptance speech, Swift revealed her new album Midnights is coming our way on October 21, and later shared more details on social media, describing it as “a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.”

Swift wasn’t the only artist with a reason to celebrate on Sunday night. It was also a big night for Jack Harlow, who topped the list of winners with four awards—song of summer for “First Class” and best collaboration, best art direction, and best visual effects for his collaboration with Lil Nas X, “Industry Baby”.

The list of winners also included Harry Styles, who won three awards including album of the year for Harry’s House. Bad Bunny was named artist of the year, Dove Cameron collected the trophy for the best new artist, while Billie Eilish picked up the award for song of the year with “Happier Than Ever”.
