The anthology comedy series Miracle Workers took us on one wild ride over the course of four seasons, but we won’t be getting another one. A few months after the Season 4 finale aired on TBS, the network decided to officially announce the cancelation of this series.

Miracle Workers was created for TBS by Simon Rich, and each season was inspired by one of his novels and short stories. The first one was based on What in God’s Name, and it centered on a low-level angel trying to prevent Earth’s destruction.

The second season took place during the Dark Ages, the third one took us to the Oregon Trail. The fourth imagined a postnuclear apocalyptic world and centered on a wasteland warrior and ruthless warlord leaving it all behind to start a new life.

The Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe led the ensemble cast of Miracle Workers, which also included Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers), Jon Bass (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), Karan Soni (Deadpool), and Lolly Adefope (Shrill).

The cancelation of Miracle Workers comes just a few months after the show’s fourth season ended its run. Deadline previously reported that TBS no longer had options on the cast for the fifth season, predicting that the show would most likely be canceled.
