Ted Danson did a pretty good job filling the role of the mayor of the neighborhood on The Good Place.

So good, that he is set to play the mayor on another series.

NBC has decided to order a new series from Tiny Fey and Robert Carlock who brought us the genius that is 30 Rock.

According to the network, “the series is about a wealthy businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles for all the wrong reasons. Once he wins he has to figure out what he stands for, gain the respect of his staff, and connect with his teenage daughter, all while controlling the coyote population.”

Danson will fill the role as the mayor-elect, with the part reportedly being written specifically for him.

The show has been greenlit straight to series, so expect it sometime in the fall!
