Venom 3 will start filming pretty soon, and several key roles have already been cast. The Emmy-nominated actress Juno Temple will play a mystery role alongside Tom Hardy in the third installment of the Venom franchise.

Venom 3 is being developed in a collaboration between Marvel and Sony, and plot details are being kept under wraps. Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock aka Venom was transported to the MCU at the end of the last movie, setting the stage for a potential cross-over between comic book rivals Venom and Spider-Man.

It’s still unclear where Temple fits into the picture, or what character she’s going to play. We also don’t know if any of the heroes and villains from the previous Sony and Marvel movies will appear in this sequel.

Temple rose to prominence as a child star during the late 2000s, with roles in Atonement, St Trinian’s, and Wild Child. Her attention shifted to television in recent years, and she’s now best known for her Emmy-nominated role as Keeley Jones on Ted Lasso.

Temple recently starred in several more acclaimed series, including Mr. Corman and The Offer. She’s also attached to the upcoming fifth season of the anthology series Fargo, alongside Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Joe Keery.
