Production of the next DCEU outing The Batman is in full gear and fans are being treated to some new teasing snippets almost every week. The latest of those snippets was revealed by the movie’s director Matt Reeves who shared an official first look at the Dark Crusader’s transportation of choice — the Batmobile. The pictures posted on Reeves’ Twitter account show the gritty line that seems to define the director’s approach to the movie.

The Batman’s Batmobile seems to be a departure from previous Batman movies and is much less exaggerated than them. It seems to be an enhanced version of a standard muscle car rather than a fully custom vehicle. These pictures join previously released unofficial pictures of the Batcycle. The pictures, released from a shooting location in Scotland, show the Batcycle as a seemingly normal motorcycle with the Batman logo.

The current cast of The Batman is composed of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Waine/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
